Zzina Awards 2015-2016 Winners

Just learnt that I was awarded as the showbiz personality of the year at this year's Zzina Awards (entertainment awards organised by Galaxy FM in Uganda). Always an honor being recognized back home. The Baala singer Daxx Kartel took the day home with three awards. It's funny that when it comes to the Hipipo awards, Bebe Cool will come close to taking all the awards only to end up with noting when it comes to the Zzina awards. Could it be the fight he had with one awards organizers?, may be not, but it leaves a lot to be desired.
Sheebah and David Lutaalo have continued to give the likes of Juliana and Chameleone for the top awards of Female and Male artistes of the year, below is the list of all the Zzina awards 2015-2016 winners.

• Best Comedian - MC Mariachi
• Afrobeat Song Of The Year – Baala (Daxx Kartel)

A-Pass, Winnie Nwagi, Leila Kayondo, Lydia Jazmine were some of the artists who attended the awarding event at Theatre Labonita. Notable among those missing on the winners list were Eddy Kenzo and Jose Chameleone.
